Ray Sibert
Licensed Professional Counselor, MMFT, LPC-S
I have been providing personal, marriage and family counseling for more than 20 years to clients dealing with stress, depression and anxiety, to clients seeking marriage and pre-marriage counseling, divorce recovery and working with blended families. Much of my practice is working with marriage and pre-marriage counseling couples, and people struggling with grief and trauma. A person’s grief journey is some of the most difficult emotional work they will do in life, affecting all areas of life: work, school, relationships and physical health. Your grief journey is unique; I am happy to walk with you.

I focus on supporting people, marriages and families in whatever issues impact their lives. Depression, anxiety, stress, communication, and affairs impact both individuals and families. Many of these issues involve difficult transitions (stepfamily struggles, divorce, moves, job) loss (death, relationships ending). When one person is hurting, everyone feels the struggle.
The World Health Organization has recently stated that Depression is now the leading cause of ill health and disability with more than 300 million suffering worldwide. Treating depression is complex and requires more than just medication. People need to learn skills and actions to manage life better. I can help.

Christian Pimentel
High School Youth Minister / LPC-I
Christian was born and raised in Austin, and is thankful to consider it his lifelong home. As a youth and family pastor for the last 17 years, he has been so blessed to stand with teens and families through both joyful and difficult times and have seen first hand how difficult it is to be or raise a teenager in today’s world. The desire to help teens, young adults, and parents navigate these tough times, and the earnest belief that hope can be found in even the darkest of times is what led him to counseling.

Whether you have a desire for personal insight, a more peaceful home life, or stronger relationships, Christian would love to sit with you to see if, together, you can discover a path forward.

Mike Thompson

Mike did his formative training at the Marriage and Family Institute at Abilene Christian University and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  He is also a clinical fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy(AAMFT) and an active member of Christian Counselors of Texas(CCT).

Mike has lived in Austin for 23 years and enjoys the many gifts this area has to offer, including beautiful country, outdoor activities, and plenty of options for good Texas BBQ.

“My main desire is to help you reach your goals.  I find that those who are open to objectivity and a fresh perspective often see desired results sooner.  However, sometimes just getting to this place can be a struggle. We can work on that as well. I believe spirituality and faith play a large part in discovering contentment.  Incorporating this in our sessions is an option you can choose. Discovering how that applies to one’s situation can be both enlightening and empowering. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey.”

Kayla Bogs
Seeking out a counselor can be overwhelming and intimidating, but the search alone is an indication of bravery. Upon beginning work together, my intention is to provide a space where you can be your authentic self and develop a helping relationship with you in which you feel safe. In both counseling and in life, I believe that in order to support each other, we must meet each other where we are. I will be accepting of where you are and help you work to where you want to be.
I believe that we learn best through ‘doing’ and that engaging both mind and body is important to growth and change. Therapy does not always have to be accomplished in a small room sitting across from me, nor does it have to involve constant questioning. While I have found great benefit in serving clients solely in an office setting, I thoroughly enjoy and find equal or more benefit in utilizing things like nature, play, music, and meditation as a means to explore core thoughts and beliefs that drive us to make decisions in our daily lives and relationships.
I have experience working with adolescents and families who battle the challenges that accompany trauma histories as well as those struggling with anxiety, depression, other mood disorders, attachment disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and more. I utilize experiential methods guided by Cognitive Behavioral concepts, Choice Theory, as well as a strengths-based perspective.
If you are looking for someone to guide you with authenticity through this brave next step, contact me. If are skeptical and hesitant to reach out, contact me. I would love to meet you and sit with you where you are at.
